Im pretty stupid and im sure this is pretty obvious, but how do you determine the best available line?

How do you figure in the commision to the line. Say a book has a team -140 and matchbook has them -135, how do you determine which is the better line factoring in the commision.

Matchbook charges 2% commission, thus if the line is -135, you are really laying 135 to win 98. So take 135/98 and you get approximately -138 after rounding.

matchbook offered 1% commission in baseball last year. Not sure what they are going to do this year

I thought I saw where they had already announced that the 1% commission will remain in effect.
