Does anyone claim winnings or loses on their taxes? I think you are supposed to claim them if they are over 10K...is that correct?

i would ask your accountant; be careful though because if you go for a loan these days and they see "gambling losses" you will have to answer questions,
of course you can always claim you won a poker tourney if you win

Are you a taxpayer??? When I sat down to read the IRS manual it started off by saying " Dear Taxpayer" I searched for the section addressed to "Dear non taxpayer" but could not locate it. There is no section for it that I found so, I guess there is nothing to do.
