Is this yrs Hopkins tm the best ever. IMO only those Mpls No. tms w/Amin are close. Beat undefeated Cooper by 22, play strong Edina tonite. 4 or 5 Div, I guys.

But that's about how far I go back, saw Garmaker play for Hibbing HS. Now THAT'S forever! THEY JUST SMOKED Cooper, who's VERY good, Hornets tonite which is also pretty good. Just think this tm is unusual for a Mn HS BB tm. Only miss a 6'11" or 7 footer in the paint. Hell of a coach too. Where you at, in our fair State? <><>

i watched Randy Brewer at the civic Center in the boys tourny in the later 70's that is as far back as I can remember..he was a huge dude!

Yeah Randy was one hell of a HS baller, his ht in our state was made him so dominant. Not too many 7 footers in Mn. BTW Hopkins smoked Edina (1 loss) by 37 last nite.

I remember watching Sherburn play on TV in the 60's and 70's. I did a search for "Sherburn basketball" and found a book you MN guys might be interested in regarding high school and college basketball in your state:

Should get it today. Yeah George was great, but not a Mn. kid. Great Pro for us tho. My pick as the greatest GG of all time is Lou Hudson, if he hadn't broken his wrist, they were a Final 4 team. McHale is one of those guys that sort of played in "reverse", much better pro than college. He was lo post banger, which got him in a lot of foul trouble @ the U. Right now Kevin is the best MN. born to play in the NBA, IMHO!!
