My 2 cents...

You have to stick the Magic and Spurs a notch or two below the big three but still capable of getting hot and going deep into the playoffs.

Orlando needs a healthy Jameer Nelson to compliment the superb Dwight Howard to really have a chance.

The Spurs would need a freak early exit by the Lakers in the West Semis to a sleeper like Denver or New Orleans to win the West. Possible but definitely a long, long shot.

The Lakers are odds on favorites to emrge into the finals from the West.

The Celts unless they make a deal for a dependable bigman to back up KG will need home court advantage to knock off the Cavs. They could do it but I make them dogs if Cleveland has homecourt.

In the East the #1 seed is extremely key because 2 Vs 3 in the East Semis will be a war. Either Boston or Cleveland taking on Orlando.

The one seed will have it much easier in the semis going against Atlanta, Detroit or maybe even Miami.

I think the Magic would have only kept getting better as Jameer Nelson continued to improve.

But, that's down the tubes.........
