That's crazy! They cut their prices, are basically giving away the Premium service to anybody that mentions SportsOptions to them and pay 2 million a year for lines. No wonder their parent company's stock has dropped 400% since the acquisition.

So they have plenty of money to siphon off to their buddies, plenty of money to spend on ridiculous lawsuits, but not enough money to figure out how to be first (or accurate) with their information?

Many people have told me that DB has lost sight of what got them to where they are, and crap like this is proof. Six months ago DB came in here and admitted that their quality has suffered, and that they were confident that it would be restored (http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=609627). Yet nothing has changed - they are still second or third on most breaking injury reports, late on putting games in and out of halftime, have more downtime, etc.

It's going to be an interesting year!

Rick, I have always spoken highly about sportsoptions yet they have been making a lot of mistakes recently regarding finals and 1st half scores, and once yo have a company the size of betphoenix we can't afford regrading games, any reason why this has been happening so often lately?

Didn't you work at DB?? Why not stop the bashing and just do a good job and let performance do the talking.

Hi Ox -

Yes, and we have addressed it. We are always preaching 'speed, speed, speed' to our guys, and there have been times that has become a distraction. We are currently implementing tools that will help this issue.

Another issue is that we send a notice on all score corrections, even if it is just 1 point and does not affect the line. I know that not all sites do that, which at times makes it appear that we are having 'more' corrections.

One thing you know about us is that we do not let issues linger - if we see a problem or our customers have complaints, we will address them immediately.

Thanks
Rick

I don't know about Don Best, but SportsOptions has it's share of problems.

1. They are always way, way behind on CRIS/Bookmaker lines.
2. Plenty of times they don't update the line at a book until long after it has
moved.

It's certainly not real time either...it can be good for covering plays before all the books move back the other way 1/2 or 1 point, but they are useless for beating books to real moves.

I can't speak for CRIS/ Bookmaker, but what Books do you think are Not Real Time ?
Because My old Shop is on there, and they are On-Time.

One thing is to blame them for the corrections on finals (1st time this ever happens) and another is to make that up because we use them all the time and would not agree with you on 1 or 2

Nimue -

Thanks for the feedback.

There are books that are faster on SO and ones that are faster on DB. We will never be as fast as DB with CRIS, but we are constantly working to improve our feeds.

If you have any specific feeds (other than CRIS) that you have seen issues with, please feel free to shoot me an email and we will look into them immediately. (rick@sportsoptions.com)

Thanks
Rick

They are ALWAYS very slow on CRIS/Bookmaker.
To not notice that you have to be blind.

Nimue the ONE who is BLIND is you for following CRIS, not only that but dumb for not knowing that Cris owns Don Best and bookmaker, therefore they will always send the numbers late to sportsoptions, you don't have to be a scientist to know that , JUST blind:toast:

nope, but they probably have a delay for them, just so that DB get the chane quicker and makes Sportsoptions look slow

I stated a fact, SO is always behind on CRIS lines and you said it wasn't true.
Then you give an excuse for it, but for some reason call me blind.
You're just an idiot.

Nim- i think he was saying what u said wasnt true because u said SO is behind on all lines....when that is false, most books are just as fast if not faster than anyones else including DB....this is a fact, been tested many times.
