Long term both Morrison and Brown could turn into players (especially Morrison) while Radmanovic drafted in 2001 has pretty much reached his potential as a back-up power forward who may see more than the 17 minutes a game in Charlotte than he is getting with the Lakers, where he found himself in Phil Jackson's doghouse lately.

Morrison a #3 overall in 2006 has been a flop in Charlotte after missing all of last year injured and only avereging 4.5 PPG this year.

Brown has been a flop already on his 4th team since being taken in the first round in 2006 by The Cavs.

IMHO. Short Term The Bobcats will insert Rad right into their rotation (what have they really got to loose).

Long term Morrison could have a big upside in the right circumstances such as a talent rich squad like the Lakers where he can find a role and quite possibly do it very well given time.

Lakers get the best of the deal if you look at it beyond the next 3 months.

Another factor is dealing Radmanovic frees up some cap room for the Lakers as the Rad is due $6.5 million next season and $6.9 million a year later in a player option. Morrison is due around 5 Million next year on the final year of his rookie contract. Michael Jordan wanted Morrison with the third pick in 06 is eating some crow right now (Kwame Brown Part 2 for MJ).

Word is Morrison just didn't gel with new Bobcat HC Larry Brown's no nonsense style of coaching and disciplined style of play this year.

This maybe a big trade from the stand point that if all 3 guys want a job next year, they will be playing Europe, so I guess big from Euro standpoint.

I have to agree with wil above.

If he gets & can somehow stay healthy, Morrison easily gives the Lakers the advantage in this trade.........

Bobcats get a guy in their rotation and take run for the playoffs. I think Lakers got garbage. Morrison is weak, terrible pick. Brown is a non factor.

Bobcats win I believe here and the salary is not much of an issue really. does look a bit weird for the Lakers, Jackson must have wanted him out asap.

Concur with what other peops are saying about Jackson probably wanted Rad out.

Although, with Jackson might be able to get something out of Morrison and Brown. More than what they have shown.

Good God no!!! Not Morrison. Next thing you know he'll be bawling his eyes out center court of Staples.
