Do you fear a bettor, in the style of a BTJ ( 1, maybe 2 bets a day), or a Doug with tons of smaller bets, more ?

I must have made 50+ bets on Sat/day, mostly at Matchbook, but probably 10 or so at Phoenix.

I'm more Iceman style. Of course, I get a bad beat or two, every Fucking day, never fails !

Do you prefer a volume player, or a BTJ , at your book , assuming you want their money to become your money ?

You obviously look at accounts. Huge difference in style between me and Beaner Jim, eh ?

Personally, I'd rather book, Jeem.... Overbetters bust out.

I bet larger at MB, BTW.

My Own answer to this Question is. Your type of Betting Or Jeems type of betting Puts No Fear at All into a Strong Book.

There's guys out there Betting $50K-$100K a game.

Not trying to put anyone down here. But it's the Big Boys that can hurt you. Not the $1000 bettors.

I'm small, $300 is a top bet more me recently, used to be bigger. I'll touch $300, did so on Sat/Day, actually $350 +, and won it,( combining Phoenix and Matchbook, on the same bet) but more like just $100, typically, these days.

BAS,,, what books will take a 50-100G bet? Your telling me I could put 50 large on tonights NHL columbus +180?

Im in the dark as to what american books will allow that big of a bet.

you dont have to be cock FE, Ive been on the boards long enough to earn my wings, Ive just never pushed the envelope, Im not that big of a player, and I dont know anyone personlaly that is either,,,

If I were to suppose I would guess Match, but, i am still one of the people that are a bit freeked out by the matching of funds thing,

50k on an NHL +180 would be very tough...no way you match it at MB, you'd have to spread that around big time, I don't know limits on regular season hockey, doubt you get over a dime at most places, maybe 5k-10k at CRIS, Grande,Greek.

Basically $500-$1,000 most places, IMO.

doug thats what i thought, I just didnt get what BAS was saying about knowing guys that roll 50+

Pinny was the only book I knew that took that large of stuff,, and well,, we know the story there,,,

I have heard that you could ask for an upgrade at the greek and they would allow larger limits, but Ive never pushed it there,,, Is it true that they will ratchet you up a notch if you ask? and how much?

No way you would get 50k ,all at once on an NHL game at Pinny , even if it was 2003, 5k maybe in a shot.

Hockey ain't NFL. No Fucking way, even then.

Well Not a Post-Up place, But Credit Books.. Should have made myself Clear when I Posted that.

With NHL, never saw anything Over $25K

Back in the Day ( and I'm Not talking too long ago ) Pinny would take $30K. Seen it Done Plenty of Times.

When I try to tell some of my friends about theRX, they say WHO ??
These Guys have No Time to post on a Forum.

Some of my friends are Pro Gamblers, they Cap games 6-8 Hours a Day....EVERY DAY. It's a Job to them.

Lately, I bet like this :

$100= standard bet

might go $150, if I feel it's strong

$200 , fairly often

$300 is pushing it, a big bet

I am not adverse to $500, or even more at Matchbook, knowing the line will move, but I buy back some, maybe all, maybe come over he top, with the other side.

I play around with quarter games, for lesser amounts.

Up or down $500 in a day is common, just not in one bet, like Jeem. I get more bang for my buck ?

I trade more than Jim, take a position ( even if I don't like it), planning to sell it later, BTJ isn't Matchbook ready... he just wants his nickel on the Celtics ( or whomever) over.... nothing wrong with that.... it's a lot simpler, than my way.

I have some scalper left in me.
