Just heard Buster Olney on ESPN talking about how this severly hurts ARODS shot at the HOF.

We have to stop this folks.

The bottom line is the list of players that did not take PEDs is a lot longer then the list of players who did not.

You have to let either everyone who has the numbers get in, or ban everyone who played baseball since 1980 from being considered.

If you think there is one bit of difference in AROD and PUJOLS you are kidding yourself.

It would be ashamed if PUJOLS went to cooperstown 15 years from now and not AROD only because PUJOLS did not get caught.

Time for baseball to admit its mistake and quit bringing this up every single year. Im tired of hearing about it, it does no good for the game.

This hurts baseball in every way. This will kill the sport and bring it down to NHL status if we keep talking about every 12 months.

So lets just let them all in, and be done with it.

Time to fire Bud Selig and his 18 millon contract...get rid of him and bring back the good old days...

Chop, stop guessing if Pujols is on the juice...you do not know...

Bud Selig is a horrible commissioner...

I'm sure Pujols will get caught at some point. Just a matter of time before on of his "associates" either gets pissed off at him or needs to make a quick buck. The beauty of this is that the drugs need to come from somewhere, so those in the distribution line know the truth. Hell, even McGwire's own brother sold him out.

Pujols is an obvious juicer. "Late bloomer" my ass, the guy looks 10 years older than he says he is. If he was that kind of a talent, he wouldn't have been a 13th round pick. WAY too much man love for this guy.

In the meantime, I want to see the 100 some names that tested positive back in 2003.

The more important question is if Jenkins, Cepeda and Molitor made the Hall-of-Fame why can't McGwire, Bonds and Clemens?

Because they all cheated to get their accomplishments, especially McGwire and Clemens. Bonds was on his way to making it.

Pretty hard to argue with this line of thinking

blah blah blah McGwire, Pujols, ARod, Bonds.....blah blah blah

All of these pretenders will see their HR records eventually be smashed by Joey Votto anyway, so let's just flush 'em

When a sport choses not to ban drugs, using them cannot be considered cheating

Remember Bonds and Clemens passed all drug tests, proving that no matter what a sport does there will always be drug users. Therefore each sport needs to decide if they want to ban drugs or not. For over 30 years fans and the media did not want drugs banned, so they weren't. Then they changed their mind and they were. And players who used when they weren't banned were not cheating

Steroids were illegal. Just because baseball didn't test for them doesn't make them legal. Knowing how the test results leaked out this week is exactly why they won't agree on this issue.

One thing about this A-Rod thing, everything said in SI is speculation, allegations and innuendos.
Nothing has been proven, and doubt anything will.
Also A-Rod has at least eight years left in the game, has been tested virtually every month for the past few years.
If he comes up clean, each and everytime for the next eight years, he'll be a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Buster Olney is just another ESPN blowhard, like Smith, Berman, and the rest.

it would be a crime if Bonds, A-Rod, Clemens, etc are not allowed into the Hall of Fame. I don't think the Hall would have any credibility what so ever if they aren't allowed in, while others who were suspected, but never proved to be cheating are let in. Who knows how many of the players that they competed against were juicing? According to many sources at least half the pitchers they faced at the same time were enhanced. There is no way you can have a Hall of Fame without 2 of the all time greats.

C'mon, bro. You're smarter than that. A-Rod went on national tv with a bad poker face and said he'd never used. Now, he is referring everything to the player's union.

Helluva player. But a fraud. And he knew it all along. Don't care how good he is, and how much money he has. If you look in the mirror and know that you're a fraud, then that has to suck.

It would also suck to have more K's than hits the last 3 post-seasons (A-Fraud that is).

The steroids in question were in fact legal to use if prescribed by an M.D.

which brings us back to the question of why Jenkins, Cepeda and Molitor were able to make the Hall-of-Fame, but not McGwire?

I really dont care about any of this.

Love watching baseball, not worth it to give a shit about who juiced and who didnt.

If you want to pick out the players that juiced, just say they all did, you will be right more than wrong.
