I mean, they are 41-9......Just Finished a 6 Game Road Trip...winning All 6 Games, that Included Boston and Clev ( Beating Both )

They also Lost Andrew Bynum, and looks like they didn't Miss a Beat.

Just looks to be one of the Better La. Lakers teams...

Not even close....couldn't hold a candle to to Magic's team during the 80's....or even to the team that won 33 straight..

They are a good team in an era of bad NBA teams...

There very good. Maybe as good as the "SHAQ" years, but not even close to the Magic & Kareem years. Or the West & Chamberlin years.

I see nobdy has mentioned the person responsible for this years Lakers success, Bynum is irrelevant. Trevor Ariza is the reason they are succesfull.

LOS ANGELES -- Pau Gasol had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Kobe Bryant added 20 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers picked up their 60th victory by beating the Houston Rockets 93-81 on Friday night.
Derek Fisher added 15 for the Lakers, who reached 60 wins for the 11th time in franchise history and the first since they went 67-15 in 1999-2000. Los Angeles pulled within a game of Cleveland for the NBA's best record.
Ron Artest had 21 points for the Rockets, who slid one game behind San Antonio in the Southwest Division. Bryant hit back-to-back 3-pointers with less than five minutes remaining to give the Lakers an 11-point lead and Gasol hit four free throws down the stretch.

Uhhhhh, no.

Don't forget, there's 5 teams in the West with winning percentages less than .300 plus a 6th team in the Warriors who are barely above that. In total, that's been 21 free wins for the Lakers.
