If they don't pay Anquan now, they will end up having to pay Breason big $$'s sooner or later.

Boldin's only been in the league 6 years, Breaston 2.

Would you pay Quan what he wants to keep him, or take a chance on Breaston, understanding if he performs you're going to have to pay him.......?

I think they're going to dump Quan given that they have Breaston waiting in the wings. Can't afford to pay 3 top receivers. Boldin has to be paid sooner and he obvious has some coaching/attitude issues, so I think they will look to move him, even though he is a very good player.

they have plenty of cap room to keep him but typically arizona hasn't really paid alot of money. But they are 41 mil under the cap. Only Tampa Bay has more cap room with 42 mil. I think they trade him personally. And as a Tampa fan I'll say we'll take him.

Wait a second here. The Cardinals ALREADY paid Anquan. He signed the fucking contract through 2010, he should fulfill the contract. Ever since Fitz got a better deal he's been crying. It's nobody's fault but his own.

This is so sick. All this guy has done is bitch about money. There's also another problem with this. Fitz DESERVES more money than Boldin.

They will probably ship him out cause he has value, but I wouldn't mind if they let him rot for the remaining two years of the contract he already signed.

Here is the problem with that in the NFL. Lets say a player has 3 years left on his deal but the player isn't performing. Well when that happens what does the team do. They cut him and then don't have to pay him even though a player might have 3 years left on his signed contract. So it works both ways. If the team can cut you and not pay you than the player has the right to want more money if he is outperforming his deal. I don't like it anymore than you but thats how it is in the NFL. and make no mistake owners do it just as much as players do.

I hear what you are saying, but that is the fault of the NFLPA. Blame the players association and the agent for not negotiating an voidable deal after certain years.

I tell Boldin, either you shut up and play, or we will Al Davis/Marcus Allen your ass.

He may or may not be a bad guy, I don't know. But don't judge the guy because of 1 blowup on the sidelines between him and todd haley. Coaches and players have blowups like this all the time its not that big of a deal. And lets remember that Todd Hayley has a reputation of being a hot head so maybe it was his fault as well. Hell, if I'm not mistaken in that same game Warner and Hayley had a confrontation on the sidelines. Peyton has had full on rages with his O-cordinator a few times. It doesn't make him a bad guy. Maybe he has done some other things I'm not aware of but I have no problem with him as of right now.

Q is apparently a great locker room guy and most of, if not all of his teammates love him.

Its a tough call, but I think I would shop him around to see what I could get. I think Breaston proved this year that he can be a #2.

There is a big difference in being a #3 and #2, also a lot easier when they are Fitz and AB as the 1 and 2s.

I like Breaston, but this guy wasn't even a # 2 in college.

True. But throw out what he was in college. That means jack squat now.

I guess it really doesnt matter what we think. If the Cards decide to move Boldin, I guess in some sense they will be making a statement that they believe Breaston is ready to be a #2. We shall see.

Also, dont forget that Boldin was out this season for a couple of games after he got his face smashed in.

Breaston was very impressive as a #2 while Boldin was out. He was the Cards leading receiver those 2 games in wins over the Bills and Cowboys. He had 7 catches for 77 yards against Buffalo and 8 catches for 102 yards and a TD against Dallas. The next game against Carolina was impressive as well. That was Boldin's first game back. Boldin didnt have a catch in that game and Breaston had 9 for 91 yards.

Thats an impressive 3 game stretch right there in my opinion.

I'd move Boldin and keep Breaston. Boldin is and will be better but they just can't afford to pay two WRs that much coin.

Cards also 4-1 in games Boldin missed this year including the playoffs vs Carolina. (<)<

Case in point. Today there is alot of talk of the Colts cutting Marvin Harrison. Well Harrison signed a 7 year $67 mil contract in '04. That should take him through what, the 2011 season. And he should make 9 mil a year, but when the colts cut him they will owe him nothing. So again while I don't really like it either, if the teams can not honor signed contracts than you can't expect the players to either.

Philly has two number one picks in the first round...if they don't sign TJ, hopefully they trade one of them to the Cardinals for Boldin...

Exactly.

Breaston = Az Zahir Hakim when he played the #3 with Holt and Bruce on the Rams.
