Sending money from the united states to costa rica
to pay the pph fee is money laundering. The money does
not return to the u.s. But stays here to pay for costa
rican employees, rent to costa rican companies, racsa, ice,
purchase computers from costa rica companies,caja etc etc etc. Why doesn't the costa rican government make some claim
that this is not money laundering, but only a fee paid
for services on costa rica soil.
Anyone sending money to costa rica is legally open to
charges of money laudering.
