Talking about the interview w/ARod. How this CS holds down a job is beyond me. So he has a vast knowledge re. MLB, a lot of guys do. The way he stutters, mumbles and hesitates, drives me nuts. I just can't listen to him for more than 2 mins.! He seems to be a nice enough guy & sincere, but his presentation is awful. :ohno:

i was jsut thinking the same thing....guy is as solid as it gets with knowledge, but he did have a stroke last year, and its amazing really, that he's back as well as he is.....he will get back to old form....but the guy is a fountain of baseball knowledge....

Mike and Mike is a solid show to listen to...hear it on the way to work everyday...wouldnt miss it

Umm.....he almost died. Hello? I think it's amazing he's doing what he's doing. Suffered a lot of damage and has recovered nicely.

I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about Peter Gammons. Well, until today, that is.

As the above posters said, he suffered a stroke last year. Yet, even with his minute problems, he is still the best sportswriter at ESPN in my opinion.
