Jeremy passed away this morning from injuries suffered from this crash over the weekend.

San José.- El motociclista estadounidense de “freestyle”, Jeremy Lusk, no resistió más y murió esta madrugada en el hospital Calderón Guardia, tras el aparatoso accidente que sufrió en la competencia de X-Knigths, el sábado pasado en el estadio Ricardo Saprissa.
El acróbata, de 24 años, permanecía anoche en condición delicada, bajo un coma inducido con medicamentos, en la unidad de Cuidado Intensivo Quirúrgico del centro médico, sin embargo su condición empeoró.
El neurocirujano Jorge Fernández, quien operó a Lusk la noche del sábado, informó esta mañana a aldia.cr que el piloto murió aproximadamente a las 2:30 a.m. y que su deceso se debió a la progresión del daño cerebral que tenía.
“Ayer en la mañana ya presentaba signos irreversibles del daño, continuó el deterioro y ya en la noche sufrió un shock refractario y paró su corazón”, agregó Fernández.
El cuerpo del piloto fue trasladado a la Medicatura Forense, donde la familia se encuentra realizando los trámites para retirar el cuerpo.
La página web del equipo de Lusk, “Metal Mulisha”, también anunció el deceso del acróbata esta madrugada.

yes they were supposed to cancel it but since they presented some shitty claim friday late at night they couldnt do anything to cancel it, if you ask me, i would have never performed that night it was too windy and as you and me know in that stadium seems that they have industrial fans all around it i was talking to a friend of mine who went and i told him that some of these guys would not try to do the most dangerous tricks cause of the wind and i think that it had something to do with this accident
