Okay, so I know he's not the Griffey of old, but as a Mariners fan I would love seeing Griffey back in Seattle. Apparently, it's becoming more and more of a reality. There's a deal in the works and the news could be announced within a couple days. Now, I'm certain that the M's will probably finish last place again this year, but with Griffey in the lineup, it will definitely give all the Mariners fans a reason to watch this year. Can't help but get a lil excited about it. And who knows? Maybe he returns to '07 form.

Looking very likely he's going to sign and I think it's awesome as well.

There will definitely be a huge ceremony to honor his return man, I can assure you of that. When he came back in '07 with the Reds in interleague play, they gave him a plaque that said "The House That Griffey Built" on it. Those fans love him man, and he deserves the royal treatment in what will probably be his last year.
