OT - Credit Card Processing Fees

I know this has been discussed previously but I couldn't find the threads when I searched.

What do processing companies typically charge to process credit card charges? I doubt we will take AMEX or Discover, so I am really only interested in Visa and MasterCard. Thanks in advance.

depends what your looking for, offshore is generally higher 4%-15% + Rolling reserve.
Regular US merchant acct is as low as 1%-3% depending on volume,whether its moto/ internet or retail/ card avaialable at purchase.
really depends what ur going for but US rates are pretty cheap

Thanks Viking, just trying to get general idea at this point.

I am looking at buying a self storage facility and we will process the rental payments via CC. It won't be a point of sale type thing, we will simply process the rents on the 1st of each month. Annual rent ~$80,000.
