Other than being a regular visitor, VIP, etc.....

For example, if you call the Bahamas, and claim that "We go to Vegas about 2-3 times per year, but wanted to visit & try you there for a change. The only problem is we get our hotels for free (or very cheap) and not sure if you have the same types of offers".

Will they budge?

Never did it with the Bahamas, But With AC - Vegas ....Yes.

Not much you really have to do Now adays. If you Call up a place in Las Vegas, they can Look at your Play in AC. Or Find out about your Play there.
A lot of Places are Connected Now.....

I Got my Host in Las Vegas, from a Host in AC.
