My Matchbook bankroll has been fluctuating between 2k and 5k since December 29th. I deposited 500 a week earlier and quickly built it to 3k.
I dont go for kelly so I want to build to 10k before I start betting 2 percent per play. The thing that really amazes and irks me is that every time....and i mean every time (9 or 10 times consecutively) that I have a little success in a day (300-500) and I take a shot (300-500 on 1 play or two 250 plays on one game) I have lost or pushed. I had Dallas +4 and over 193.5 the other night against Boston....Dallas was ahead by 15 at one point and I thought the streak would end but NO.

I had Tampa/Wash over 6 tonight with 2 rookie tenders in net and TB can only manage 1 goal against a guy making his debut 5-1(push). I had the Rockets +1 against the Knicks a few weeks back at the Garden when the Knicks had not beaten an opponent all season when headed into the 4th trailing and guess what...Knicks first win this year in that situation.
I had GS +4 over SA a few backs back. GS lead by 12 in the 4th and lose by 4. I had a hockey game where I needed 1 goal in the 3rd and didnt get it and so on and so forth. I put 500 on the Celts at home last Sunday money line against SA....up 3 late...loss.

The 100 dollar plays cash left and right....50 dollar plays are like taking Candy from a baby. 200 or more and its an automatic loss. I'm aware I should not be gambling like this....but I want to build a decent roll again before I get disciplined so ive been taking these shots so im leaving myself open to this....but this is crazy shit.

I looked it up and my last 9 plays of 250 or more are 3 push/6 loss and my last 68 plays of 100 or less are 42-22-4. Crazy or what?
