Glad the off-season is over and they're back to business.

Got a big card today so I hope the carnage is held to a minimum.

I guess you can say this is my POD. Last 5 starts at Daytona resulted in finishes of 4th, 2nd, 3rd, 41st (took out by Stewart after leading the most laps), and 3rd. Finished 6th in his qualifying race and had the 3rd fastest speed in Happy Hour. If he keeps his nose clean this looks really good.

One of my favorites today (and for the 2009), feels he has a lot to prove

Has 4 Daytona starts and has finished 12th or better in 3 of those

1.00 unit Kevin Harvick (-130) under 14.5 (@5dimes)
Finished 14th or better in 5 of 6 at Daytona. RCR teams seem to always do well on plate tracks.

Hope that this Petty team gets sponsorship for the entire year because Allmendinger's progression is really showing.

Really scary taking Gordon but you can't argue with his past history here. 15th or better in 6 consecutive starts.

Elliott Sadler (-120) over Michaael Waltrip (@thegreek)
Another driver who does well here, while Waltrip's better days seem to be behind him

Clint Bowyer (+100) over Jeff Burton (@thegreek)
Bowyer has the best average finish here than any current driver

Mark Martin (-125) over Denny Hamlin (@5dimes)
Maybe a sentimental pick but with Hendrick I think Martin has a good chance to win today while Hamlin's best finish at Daytona is 17th.

Nice job, Max. I almost had a mega day last Sunday, but that last yellow ruined it. Good luck on your year. I am just getting into NASCAR as I can't stand regular season NBA, NHL, or MLB. I need something to get me through to CFB.
