I personally would automatically rule out the NBA as it seems like a superstar can take over & carry a team much easier than the other sports...

Football by far in my opinion. NBA teams can be carried by one great player, MLB teams can be carried by great work from the pitchers, NHL has guys like Crosby and Zetterberg that can take over a game (although I'd put NHL 2nd).

NFL needs everyone working together on offense and defense for the team to succeed. This one is easy for me.
