All-star games are practically the ONLY games I watch. I like to see the best athletes compete on the field at the same time. To me, regular seasons, playoffs..etc are a bore, as you are not seeing the best the sports have to offer. NHL All-star weekend is to die for. And if you can't get excited for the Pro Bowl, then you'd better check your pulse.
It's all about money. All-star games ain't gonna go anywhere. I always thought it would be cool to figure out some sort of reward for the division/league/conference that won the all-star game across the sports. I'm not sure what would be appropriate, but it would sure as hell make things more interesting if there was something at stake.
The only one that is any good is the Baseball All-Star Game.
I think they should hold the NBA All-Star Game in Vegas every year.
