If I am confident that the play is strong I don't mind laying the extra vig. But I can also see how many are not comfortable laying that much juice. I have seen it a lot in MLB where an high ML like -220 can mow down a players roll. In general I like to shop around and get the best number I could find. But I have no problems playing the bigger number if I have to.
Never ever go -120 on anything, M/L or spread. There is thousands of Games a Year so there is no need to fall for what in reality is what makes Bookmakers rich. Human Nature has a built in mode that learns from the past but when it comes to gambling this becomes a regret of not betting, basically looking on easy money. Truth is that the the bigger the vig the bigger your losses and when you lose, at evens plus your ego is not shot to pieces, so why would you want to bet such odds on, get into a habit of despising the Books and even if these Teams win, laughing at the books odds knowing you are not the sucker. :drink:
I appoligise for getting annoyed but betting odds on is the biggest reason for punters losing money. Its not the actual odds thats the problem but the effect it has on you when you hit a losing run. at least with evens + things can be controlable but the bigger the odds on the bigger the slide and bottle to stump up more cash,
