What do i need to cross the canadian border?

i've been told all that i need is my driver's license? is this true? or do i need my original birth cert. as well

You WILL NOT get across without a passport. Bank on it.

untrue, my friends go up weekly without a passport - that hasn't been set in motion yet as far as i know? but one tells me you can go with just a DL, that doesn't seem right to me...

hmmm Interesting. I was told I needed one, so I brought it. That was last last October.

The rules change later this year or early next...so a passport would be required for ground entry. It's mandatory for Air Travel.
