Talking to a Friend of mine last night ( Gambler ) and he told Me that he was Never in Las Vegas. I was Shocked, Anyone Else.....Never Been there ?

dated this chick out in atlanta who loved blackjack and craps. been to AC, and the local places around where she lives. 37 years old, never been to Vegas yet.

For a really long time. I DREAMED of going to Vegas. I thought about it a LOT. I started to think I would never get there. But I was convinced of myself it would be everything and anything for me.

Now that I have been 4 times; the first couple trips it's kind of overwhelming. And then the last few, it was just a fun trip and I was looking forward to getting home by week's end.

Looking out the hotel window and seeing a mountain range, you realize just how isolated that city is.

Yup. I was only a mod for about 2 months when I went to the first one, I just felt obligated to make it to the bash. That was probably the kick in the ass I needed to get a ticket and on the plane.

I have been there many of times, I was talking with a family member who likes to gamble, he has been to local river boats. But he never took the trip to Las Vegas.

For anyone thats never been put it on the top of your list. Vegas is great, I feel like I am home everytime I go. :drink:

Missed a connecting flight to California, had to stay the night. I was only 18 and played poker at a machine and won $30 then got kicked out. While my Dad stayed out at the Tropicana till 5 am. One week before 9/11 and havent been back since.

I haven't. Waiting until I have enough expendable cash on hand to go all out and have an amazing time, don't want to be penny pinching when I'm out there.
