Boardwalk was good. Espn bar there. Most of the park places, the rooms are dirty but you won't be there much. You have to stay at the upper tier price places to get a good clean room. Saying that, I would still stay on site.

Epcot was fun for me. I liked the different foods and drink. It was interesting. Magic kingdom for the kids. Animal kingdom sucked...not even worth going imo. They have a water type park if you like that sorta thing.

I think its mgm there that had a few good shows and some interesting rides.

Its great for kids and work for adults.

If it's possible for you make your way over to Orlando's Universal Studios as well (2 different parks)

Much more up to date & you'll love the Spider Man and/or Mummy ride imo......

Very expensive for lodging on Disney grounds. If you have a large group (8+), I'd recommend renting a home in a nearby area. Can get really nice deals for a week on very large homes (maybe $1,500 or so for a week). Much nicer than some hotel room.

Renting a home is a great way to go...I rented a home last year with a pool for under 1000.00 and it was about 15 min from disney.

But I will say disney has had many ads on tv here something about by 3 nights and get 3 or 4 free..I'm sure it is there lower end properties but I could be wrong.

Stay on the property. Its easier. Not much more expensive than off the property and in some cases, cheaper.

For me, I like the Disney and park atmosphere at my hotel. (Not to mention the bar down stairs) In a house you just don't get that. It makes it a hell of a lot easier to get to the parks with all the shuttle services too.

I will tell you this that unless your kids are about 12 or under that it is really not worth it as the kids will get bored after a couple of hours and paying outragous prices on food and souveniors I think you spend your money wisely elsewhere but thats my opinion only.Wow 4000 grand and I thought this country was hurting but I guess Disney didnt get that memo.

Take a 1st and 2nd mortgage.

Disney is one the great frauds perpetuated (sp) on the American people.

You can't take food or drinks in the park, you have to pay $5 for their can of soda.

Place is a rip off
