Fred Taylor Signs With Patriots

Just Got Word of This little Info..................

On Thursday night Fred Taylor was expected to sign with the Patriots. On Friday morning, he has signed with the Patriots.
Adam Schefter reports that the team and player reached agreement on a deal that will bring Taylor to New England. No terms have been announced at this time. Taylor joins Kevin Faulk, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Laurence Maroney and Sammy Morris in a deep Patriots backfield.
The Bills, who also offered Taylor a contract, must now look elsewhere for help at running back.

Should get a good year out of him.

#28 should be available for him. There is a second string player that has that #.

The Patriots??? I would have guessed 20 other teams before the Patriots. With all the RBs they already have, what's the point?

Good insurance for Maroney when he goes down, he hasn't been healthy for an entire season yet. I'd much rather see them plug in Fred Taylor than Sammy Morris or anyone else on their roster

They played running back by committee last year and it works for them.Faulk,Morris Jordan,Evans.
Maroney will be back next year along with Morris,Taylor and Faulk. Outstanding all around running game.
Love the Fred taylor signing.
Also love the signing of TE Chris Baker from J-E-T-S. (unofficial)

HaHa.... But if you do get him, you will be getting one of the Better Blocking TE in the NFL.

Another great example of why the Bills SUCK.
They had Taylor in before the Pats this week. Fred said he was excited and things looked good--but the Pats talked him out of signing and convinced him to come to NE as he had planned. Bill sold him and Buffalo losses again.
