I won $9000 hitting four different Video Poker Machines in one day. Three $2000 Jackpots on Deuces Wild and one $3000 Jackpot on a Royal Straight Flush with Spades. It was like winning BOTH showcases on The Price Is Right TV Show. It was all in part of a ten day streak that had me up + $12000. I have never had that kink of luck before in my life and have not had much luck since. But for that one day, it just fell out of the sky.

Back in my days living in Vegas I had several scores playing Craps, at least two hands that netted me over $20,000 each.
The trick with Craps, assuming you know how to play the game as hard as it can be played, is being lucky enough to be at the right table at the right time. You just never know when you will be playing with a decent bankroll in your pocket and a hand will show up out of knowhere. Those moments are a Craps players dream.
I have had some great NFL Sundays also when I won everything I bet. 6 or 7 $2000 bets.
Blackjack is more of a grind when it comes to making a big score unless you find a table with hugh limits and throw caution to the wind and just bet large laydowns. That is not my style. I usually would set a goal that I want to win when playing blackjack. Two thing can happen: 1. I lose my bankroll of say $2K or 2. I win my goal of $5k (based on a $2k bankroll) and walk.
On the other hand like all gamblers I have had my brutal can't win a bet days also.
Believe it not on occasion just for the fun of it I have played roulette and occassionaly won (not as often as I lost though) because of a well known method (not a system) but just a betting method I use. I have walked to the cage with a few dimes after starting with a bankroll of less than a nickel more than a few times.
In 40 years of gambling there have been many highs and lows.

At Thule AFB Greenland, 1952, I won 1900 in a 16 hr poker game w/the guys. The problem was we were using blank dog tags for chips, so when payoff time rolled around I only netted a little over 1400, but even so, when you're making $90 a mo., that was a lot. Most ever in 1 day in LV, @ the LV Hilton, 11,000. I went home the next day.@)

Mine was over 5 straight days at a river boat in this area. I use to tag along with a frind who is a huge craps player. He would have 5 other guys that they would reserve a table for, all HUGE players. I was the tag along and started with 500.00. Things were so good for the five days that my 500.00 grew into 15k. Every roll was a winner, did not matter Hardways hitting like crazy, 4-10 all day...Never in my life have I been part of something like that. The second day the cage had to bring money to the table 2 times. They could not bring it fast enough for these guys. 1 time they stopped the game till they could get more money in the box. These guys filled up slot buckets with chips it was easier than racking them. My friend over those five days won over 400k, and 3 others were right in that area. Too this day they say it was one of the worst 5 day beatings they ever took. And boy was it fun to be part of it.
2 Springs ago went on a 20k black jack tear over 5 trips to the turning stone casino in a 3 week period. biggest 1 day hit was for about 8k. didn't play black jack again until I was in Vegas last Spring where I lost about $600. Didn't even want to play though. Was basically just messing around for fun. Went back to the Turning Stone for the first time in a year and a half a couple months ago and hit another 3k playing black jack. I don't see myself going back anytime soon even though the comps are pretty enticing.
I will have to say that this all Brings back the Good old days Of Las vegas and going there with Mumbles and the Crew.
Made Tons of Cash, many Many times with that Crew. Most of the time it's was taking a Piece of the Action and let Mumbles and "J" do all the work. ( even though, I do play the game myself )

-Palms Casino and cashing out with my first $1000 chip after working the a blackjack table for about 3 hours and a $200 buy in.
