I was stiffed by a agent in Costa Rica

I have been dealing with a agent/bookie or whatever you want to call him in Costa Rica.I may look foolish for trusting this guy and that is fine but if it keeps anybody else from dealing with him then this will be worth it because I wish somebody would have warned me.A lot of things add up looking back.
I dont suppose I can say his fulll name so I will just say his name is Gary.I had dealt with him when he was with Royal Sports a long time ago.He seemed ok by me and we got along well because he supposedly went to the University of Alabama so we had something in common.Maybe that was a setup but he answered so many questions about dorm halls,street names etc that he did actually go there or was one hell of a scam artist.
So I started playing with him when he moved to Wager Web.I thought I was just playing with Wager Web but I may have been just going thru him as an agent.To be honest I was uneducated about agents and forums such of this.I just thought I was playing at Wagerweb.*(as a side note,I never had problems at either Royal Sports or Wager web)
So this guy earned my trust and I started to play with him thru a few more moves(Sadly I would later learn why this guy moves around so much...because he is running).
I always paid the guy on time and had some very bad runs in there.Very Bad.Of course I won some little amounts and got paid.Not Monster amounts but enough to keep my trust in him going.I did notice he worked in many different places but I had no reason to doubt him at this point.
Well football season came and I started to win every week.Things started to change and everything got a little vague on payout time.I waited three weeks and got a payment in the mail but it was a check and it was no good,bad,worthless.And it was what I consider a high amount.
I kindly emailed him and tried to get him to be honest.I told him I know people struggle,everybody has problems.I even told him to send me $100 a month.If it takes 5 years to pay me.fine Just dont stiff me!
I got one month of complete lies from him and now two months later his email and phone number are no good.
Sad thing is that thru a few several people on this board I am told he is still taking bets.
SO take the losers money and when somebody comes along that wins,just change all your contact information and inform the rest of your clients and keep taking their bets.
Its a shame.I know I am foolish for falling for it.I would just let it go and not make mention of it but I am pissed about because 1)I paid him a lot on time-every time 2)I was willing to accept tiny payments and even offered to take 1/3 of what he owed me to get it over with 3)and maybe te most important is that he is still taking bets.
I went to my history of email addresses and emailed about 3-4 places he has worked in the past and they all say he NO GOOD and that makes new friends,burns them and moves on to make new friends.
I can see that.He is a likable guy and a smooth talker.I even thought we were friends as we talked during many Bama games.I was foolish.I know that 100%.He has other clients (some maybe some on this board).SO if you are dealing with a guy in Costa Rica named Gary please PM me and I will give you the last name so you can get away from this before you get burned.
And Gary if you are out there watching(as I know you read this board)Its never to late to start doing the right thing.

If he works in sales then he probably works for somebody who reads this forum.

I have heard of more stiff or slowpay credit places in the last 4 weeks than ever.

Sad state of affairs.

The even sadder part is this guy is probably not even really a Gary. His real name could be anything.

Financial transactions between posters or people you meet out of the blue on the internet are extrememly risky and The Rx. advises the use of the most serious caution before making any kind of financial transaction with a person you do not know extremely well or one vouched for by someone you trust very much. The Rx.com itself cannot be held responsible when posters fail trying to recover funds loaned, transferred or won by wager with other posters under any circumstances.

Unless you personally know a person or one is vouched for you by someone you trust highly you should be very hesitent to conduct unsecured financial business with that person that you meet on this any other forum.

I cannot over emphasize how dangerous it is to bet with, loan money to, or transfer funds with or to complete stangers and expect to be paid in the end.

I can't post his real name, but let's just say it's Brad Blow

He paid me right on time the last time I won which was way the hell back in June 2008 following the NBA Finals.

Since then I've paid him a couple times in return so he can better finance his up and coming CR bookmaker lifestyle which began with marrying a Hot Young Tica.

His goal is to become better than the old timer bookmakers and I for one think he's well on his way

Yes I am 100% positive about the name,It was confirmed by the places he worked at including non gaming jobs.Also worked at a Very Very popular Hotel in Costa Rica.

I wanted to bump this one time and I will not bump it again after today.I just wanted to warn anybody that may have used him or who may use him now.I have found a few other people that he screwed over.

I have not heard anything from him.I have found his latest phone number but he will not respond.

Here in the states, if a bookie, or agent doesnt pay, You go to his BOSS, or another bookie agent, and you tell them HIS NAME, and ask if they will TAKE YOUR ACTION, and recover your monies,

now of course you wont get the full amount, HOWEVER, I can guarentee you if you speak to the right person you will find a Great White shark, that is happy to clear up matters, and giv eyou some sort of a bonus.

please take my advice, and you will not have another sleepless night wondering if you will be paid,

I sent a email three sportsbooks he had been a agent with in the past.I failed to get a response from any of the three sportsbooks.
As far as the one he was using when he screwed me over,it was just one of those sites that runs things for the agents,they dont deal with money or bonuses.I did contact them and they said they had already kicked him off when they realized he was a scumbag.He bounces around a lot.
