The sole pure shining moment of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon was Justin Timberlake's appearance. (Read my review of the entire premiere show here.)

Over the years, Letterman has had Bill Murray, Steve Martin, and Bonnie Hunt; Craig Ferguson has Jim Parsons (really: The Big Bang Theory star kills every time he's on), and now add to the list of sure-fire guest-appearances Mr. T-lake. Just check out his easy banter and his John Mayer and Michael McDonald impersonations:

And, oh yeah: That MTV game/reality/punk'd-ish show he brought a clip of looked pretty amusing.

Do you agree about Justin? He's not at Murray/Martin level yet, but the guy's a charmer, don't you think?

i actually watched it last night just to see how Fallon did.

it was ok, that skit about licking an object for 10 bucks was stupid though.

Haven't seen this yet, but Timberlake's guest appearances (non-musical) on SNL the last couple years have been some of the best I've seen. He did a bit on Weekend Update that was really good. Weird to say, but he actually has talent.

I fell asleep before JT came on. Fallon seemed really nervous. I hope he improves because overall I like Fallon.

I only saw the opening monologue. Yes he did seem nervous but it was midly funny anyway. He wasn't great, but certainly not Carson Daly bad either.

Fallon was as bad as a host can be. Having the no personality Deniro didnt help him but Fallon is not a real funny dude like Conan is. Horrible debut, but JT is really entertaining

if " lick it for 10 bucks " was the best thing his writers could come up with for opening night , he may be in trouble.

he must be pretty good buddies with deniro . their 10 minutes together was painful. the space train skit was idiotic.

timberlake might be the most talented guy in show business at the moment.

he can be very funny and has been one of the best guests snl has ever had. not to mention he seems like the nicest guy you'll ever meet.
