Anybody here ever make a counterfeit bill...

even just Fucking around ? I don't expect you to admit making and passing one. I could see somebody here making one, and destroying it

Some interesting stuff on History channel about it.

I never have counterfeited currency, but I can reproduce something like a state park season pass ( windshield annual sticker), I've done that, give them to friends. They only look at it from 20' away, wave you through....like a Mexican border guard.

Never did money,

but in high school we would replicate report cards so that we didn't get in trouble at home.

In college, we would make report cards for a friend and have to fax them to his parents (we couldn't duplicate the paper/letterhead) so that he would get tuition money even though he dropped out of school.

Nope. Not worth it imo, especially now with the new security features and even RFIDs in some bills. You'd have to invest too much time, energy, and money.

I did get a bad one giving to me before. Yes it did come from a bookie too if was a $20 and it was in with about $4980 of real bills. Took it to the bank and turned it in what a mess that was if you get one just trash the thing you don't want the hassle.

This thread reminds of when my pet ferret was counterfeiting bills in his playpen. He had talent with a certain pride for his skill. He didn't mind being called a counterfeiter, just don't call him a mammal.

I can't !, don't know enough about it.

The paper has to be "feel" right though, very tough to fake. You won't get a fake past me, but I don't know how to make a good one.

I do believe any decent counterfeit starts with a bleached out $1 bill.

I never have but had a good friend who did. 5 years in the federal slammer. They take that VERY seriously.

It's a pretty major offense, no doubt !

I don't advise trying it, your "product" won't fool, even a good cashier.

I can tell a fake bill way better than a bank teller. I've seen a few that collectors/dealers keep as collectible items. Most are pretty bad.
