What do they expect to accomplish?
I can understand teams who can compete if they add a quality QB that is missing, like the Vikings for example, but a team who has no chance signing a quarterback who is about to end his career makes no sense.
I know in some cases they will bring a guy in to help groom a young QB, but those like the Warner example is completely different.
Maybe that's why teams like San Fran stay down for so many years......
