Fla. police say she called emergency number 3 times after store runs out

FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Authorities say a Florida woman called 911 three times after McDonald's employees told her they were out of Chicken McNuggets.
A police report says 27-year-old Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman told authorities she paid for a 10-piece last week but was later informed the restaurant had run out.
She says she was refused a refund and told all sales were final. A cashier told police she offered Goodman a larger portion of different food for the same price, but Goodman became irate.

"This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one," Goodman told police, according to The Stuart News. "This is an emergency."
Police say Goodman was cited on a misuse of 911 charge. A current phone listing for Goodman couldn't be found.
A McDonald's spokesman says Goodman should have been given a refund, and she's being sent a gift card for a free meal.

She got arrest good for the police. What a waste of life to call 911 over a refund. 2 people could of died while they were wasting her time on her missing $3. Someone should give her the number to the Whitehouse so Obama could help her out. Maybe explian if she got a job she be rich he is giving $13 bonus bucks a week. On the other hand she has a great civil suit against McDs for not refunding her money when they don't have the merchandise advertised. Got to love this world we now live in.

The only thing she can sue MCDonald's for is the return of her cash...she isnt entitled to anything because they ran out of McNuggets....so she could sue, but the only thing she would get out of it is the money they took from her...if people were entitled to damages every time a business was out of stock or backordered on something(which technically, that's what happened here, her McNuggets were on backorder) the country would go broke...

But in her defense, man, when I need me some McNuggets, I need me some MCNUGGETS!! I can see where it would cloud her judgement...those crispy round little pieces of Heaven, dunked in thier sweet and sour sauce....man, I'd go to jail over it too!!

Here's a Little Info on Your...I would go to Jail for McNuggets

In 1984, James Oliver Huberty killed 21 people and wounded 19 others at a McDonald's in San Ysidro, California, in what became known as the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre. Three years later, in 1987, his widow, Etna filed a USD$5 million lawsuit against McDonald's, claiming that the massacre was triggered by her husband's consumption of excessive amounts of Chicken McNuggets. She alleged that monosodium glutamate from the food interacted with the lead and cadmium that had built up in Huberty's body after 14 years as a welder. However, when it was discovered that Mrs. Huberty's claim was scientifically baseless, her attorney advised her to drop the charges.[6]
The 2004 documentary Super Size Me states that the McDonald's Chicken McNuggets, originally made from old chickens no longer able to lay eggs, are now made from chickens with unusually large breasts. These chickens are stripped down to the bone, and then "ground up in to a chicken mash then combined with a variety of stabilizers and preservatives, pressed into familiar shapes, breaded and deep fried, freeze dried, and then shipped to a McDonald's near you [7]." Super Size Me also alleged that they included chemicals such as tertiary butylhydroquinone (a phenolic antioxidant), polydimethylsiloxane (an anti-foaming agent), and other ingredients not used by a typical home cook. As of 2007, these two ingredients were still listed as possible ingredients of the vegetable oil that is used to fry McNuggets. In a 2002 lawsuit against McDonald's, the judge claimed Chicken McNuggets are a "McFrankenstein" creation of various elements not used by the home cook. [8]
According to raw ingredients listing on the wholesale packaging of Chicken McNuggets in any varient, chicken breast accounts for less than 50% of the product.

I called 911 by mistake one time when ordering a pizza. The cops were there in about 3 minutes. I really thought I was going to get carted away.

I guess there is a big difference between a mistake and actually being serious about something as dumb as this.
