About you winning too much cash....does anyone here have that problem?
So what if limits are cut, can you still win? Personally, could care less what you win, just as long as there were losers...as long as the lines are good, should it matter who wins and who loses?

Depends on the book I guess, some want losers only and others will have no problems with winners.

Whether a player wins in the short term means nothing. Seen guys get hot for a couple of months, only to give it all back plus. If you want to book, you need patience and a bankroll.

I am sure this would be a problem that everyone would like to have. :103631605

If you are the type of player that seems to get his limits cut, the best thing to do is try and spread out the action through many diffrent books. Just try not to use books that are part of the same family. Like if you use bookmaker & DSI they will catch on and send you a e-mail saying you are trying to crush there limits. Do something like a Bookmaker, Greek, 5dimes etc.. add as many books as you need to keep your accounts nice and cool and out of investigation. If a player sticks with that and dont get to greedy they should be fine for a while at least. GL :drink:

SIA is ridiculous about it. They must want equal action, so if you take back +7.5 +110 ( NFL), and win ( as you probably will), they cut you loose, but you only helped them to balance their action.

Of course you don't want to book a guy that beats you long-term, esp. if he bets last minute. He could be an asset at low limits, with earlier bets.

You can certainly oust a player, as long as you pay him promptly.

I have had this arguement with 2 different sportsbooks that cut my teaser limits. I asked them how can I be cut when someone will win a bet this weekend for more then I will be wagering all year. Both had the same answer. They will give it back at some point and you will not.

If they were 6 pointers at even money, I don't blame them...That is highway robbery...

I would let you play teasers all day with the right amount of juice...

I am assuming that it is NFL football...

I always read the max bets allowed at sportsbooks (dreaming) and see a lot say they will take a 25k bet on a NFL game....does it happen? and if so at what amount would a guy who bets 25k per game get cut off?

Teddy, obviously ones looking for the best line to put down 25 lrg, but isnt it just better to lay that off at 5-7 Dif books, getting varying Vigs?

there area handful of -105 books out there now., mixed with greek and cris??

you could prob get your 20-25 down at -107 (matchbook included)

now that I think about it, if someone is Laying 25 large on a reg basis, why the FK dont you have a Pinnacle account??? (takes $$ to make $$)

With today's software it shouldn't matter. Just need volume and moving on air can get smaller books hurt with unequal action.

If a player was a sharp laying down 25k wagers that player would prob get limits cut after one good weekend.

Sample 1: Lets say just for the sake of conversation 20 players call in a wager on Team A for a total of 7k in action. And another 20 players call in wager on Team B for a total of 9k in action. Both teams are a (-110) Team A wins. (in this sample the book gets 9,900 and pays out 7k they made 2,900 off of 40 players on that event)

Sample 2: Same Event as in Sample 1, in this case 40 players wager 16k on Team B. Team A Wins. (Book makes 17,600)

Sample 3: Added game, the book has 3 people on it total, for 1k in action.

Now the first 2 samples are just one event. Lets say you owned the book that booked the action for this event. At what point would you want the sharp player to come along and wager 25k down on Team A for Sample 1, 2. or 25k to crush your numbers on 3? How long would you want that player there? Long enough to go 12-4? Long enough to tell his friends with $$ so now you have 3 sharp players going 12-4 for 25k a crack, would you want that?

So when would a book cut you laying 25k a game? The answer is when there numbers are not making sense for them anymore. People will say the books are happy with sample 1, at even action or almost at even action. I will say the books love sample 2, and why not. Who does not wanna clean up every now and then. However the books do not like anyone crushing there numbers.

The one sharp player at 12-4 gets 300,000 for the 12 wins and gives up 110,000 for the 4 lost games. The sharp makes 190,000 for 2 weeks. And next week his friends will be at your book to tail since you welcome that action. So do you want his action? Or do you wanna Cut him?

Depends on the sport. If you're winning in NFL or NBA, no good sportsbook would cut you off. Even if you were winning all year.

If you're betting obscure NCAABB game totals or qualifiers/challengers tennis they will usually lower your limit to $10-$50 a play if you're winning alot.

Books care, they are greedy just like the players. They want more then the hold% they get from even action, so cut off the sharp and the hold% goes^^^^.
