when did this magical rule come up about not hitting women?

i thought women wanted to be seen as equals to men, to be treated the same. i dont get why if your being attacked by a female, you can't hit them back. makes women look frail and weak.

i even convinced myself i wouldnt. if i was being attacked by a woman though, i'd probably hit her and have no regrets even though its been burned into my head to never touch a woman regardless of what the woman does to me.

i dont know when this happened, but its stupid.

Dumbass, women want to have equal opportunities as men but somewhere along the line it got confused with women and men are the same.

Any jackass can tell the differences between men and women.

say hypothetically she saw me talking to another woman. she takes off her shoes, and pounds them into me. starts throwing some punches, kicking, etc. i walk away. she pursues and keeps hitting me.

what you are saying is i should keep walking away as i keep getting hit and hit instead of defending myself, just because the person who's attacking me and my well-being is a female?

no, but i dont compare a grown woman to an 8 year old. i treat them as equals to men, like they want to be treated, with dignity and respect, not treated with kid gloves.

never said im ok with beating a woman. i said its not wrong to defend myself if me and my well being is being threatened, just because the aggressor is a female.

either you guys are too stupid to understand what i mean or you don't udnerstand the image i'm trying to portray. i'm portraying being attacked by a female through no fault of my own and being endangered and defending myself.

and yes, a lot of defending yourself has some physical aggression towards the aggressor involved. even in martial arts, self defense classes you use physical force against the aggressor.

I'm surprised that after a brutal attack like that you would have the power to walk away. I would think you would need to call 911, once you get to the emergancy room and your wounds treated, ask to speak to an abuse councilor. Remember you are the victim, it wasn't your fault.

it sounds like this isn't the first time a female has slapped you around a bit. Its common for men who are abused by women to want to fight back.

unless you are a total puss you should be able to handle it without resorting to hitting her back...

Maybe I've never been in a situation where I felt physically intimidated by a woman, of course I tend to stay away from the fat ones...

In my old age, I hardly find it appropriate to hit guys too.....feels like there are better ways to solve it....

if some chick were running at me with a knife, I would NOT let the bitch stab me....thats for sure....run away, restrain her, hit her, etc....there are exceptions to all "rules".....but I can't think of a reason to ever hit my mom, my gf, and many other girls I know....

unless they gave me herpes, then I guess the right thing to do is to bite them.

I dont get it, yes in a certain circumstance where a woman is holding a shotgun and a grenade, yeah beat the shot out of her and stomp on her head.

But in almost any other time, beating a woman is just not an option a civil rational male should ever consider doing.

You start off saying, "Why is there a magic rule about not hitting woman" and than give an example where you have no choice but to defend yourself.

Most woman who are beaten are beaten because the guy was a shitbag.

How about asking why there is a "magic rule about hitting old people" and give a case where an old guy is slamming you in the head with his cane

this thread was actually in relation to the chris brown/rihanna fiasco thats going on. which got me thinking about this topic.

if rihanna physically attacked brown, then i have no problem with him defending himself. you dont go that far though and leave her unconscious. you use the various self defense techniques(some which do involve force) to subdue your aggressor.

i think some of you people think im talking about just beating the living shit out of a female that attacks you like chris brown did. that is totally unacceptable.

totally unacceptable to beat up anyone like that.

everyone should go through self defense classes.
