Yeah it looks good, I like that they brought back the cast from the first movie.

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Despite dwindling returns at the box office with each new film, Fast & Furious is back — for a fourth time.
And though the series has never been a favorite of critics, the film, opening Friday, is tracking well with young male moviegoers, who have kept the franchise in theaters since the first film made its debut in 2001.
Fast & Furious illustrates the clout of B-list franchises: movies that don't have the star power (or ticket sales) of, say, a Batman or Spider-Man but survive with lower budgets and healthy profit margins.
"You tend to scratch your head with sequels of some movies," says Brandon Gray of Box Office Mojo. "But it's all about cost. If it does well on DVD or overseas, you often get another movie."
The Hellraiser franchise, for instance, has never produced a movie that made more than $15 million, yet it spawned four pictures. The Highlander series had just one movie gross more than $15 million, but there were four movies.

A few modest-grossers get new installments this year as well. Despite taking in a unassuming $28 million, Crank gets a second film: Crank: High Voltage arrives April 17. The Final Destination movies have never taken in more than $54 million, but the fourth film, Final Destination: Death Trip 3D, hits theaters Aug. 28.
Most under-the-radar franchises thrive off strong DVD sales. (The Matrix became the first DVD to sell more than 3 million copies, prompting two sequels.) But even a $10 million film that takes in $20 million might have a future as a franchise.
"Someone is making money, even if the movie looked like a bomb," says Paul Dergarabedian of Hollywood.com. "Any investment that doubles your money is a good one. And home video can create a rabid fan base that the studios will cater to."
Furious began with a large fan base; the first film took in $145 million. Since then, though, the franchise has been slowing down: 2 Fast 2 Furious took in $127 million, and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift mustered $63 million. The latest rendition reunites Vin Diesel and Paul Walker as leadfooted crook and speed-demon cop.
"It's not enough to make a sequel because the first movie was good," Gray says. "There has to be a hunger for another. (Furious) will have to answer the question of why there's another movie, or it won't work."
But Walker says the enduring appeal of Furious has nothing to do with budgets or overseas box office.
"The cars are the stars," he said as shooting wrapped this past summer. "And who doesn't want to see fast cars and hot women?"

Saw it yesterday. Good, not great. If you liked the first one you'll like this one. Lots of fake unrealistic car action but lots of hot girls and action.

Not a bad movie. If you're a fan of the franchise, you'll like it. Good action scenes.

In the end it was nothing more than a B rated movie.
