Why? This is a legit question. Many people have birth defects...some serious and some not...

Thus is life...let's not hide from the truth about life

No but it might bring awareness to the suffering that some have to go through in their lives...

I was born with a compulsive personality. My constant demand for perfection from everyone in my life makes me extremely unpopular.

Anyway. Despite being followed by the mods like a mobster is followed by the feds....

I sympathize with any person or parent that is affected either directly or indirectly by this...

I have a brother in law that is missing one of his ears and he just has that little fold over skin there.

My oldest boy was born with 1 kidney. Also had open heart at 2 to fix a hole.

Then needed a C1C2 fusion on his neck and wore a halo for 8 months.

He is 12 now and although he has limited motion in his neck he is an allstar in bases, select team for hoops, great runner in CC, and a very good student.

He will never play any contact sports like hockey, foots or rugby. But thats ok as he is a great kid.

Its strange to go through it but you have to. My youngest boy has nothing wrong with him except he spills everything.LOL

Great to hear.

Doesn't appear that he is limited in any way. Yes, I know you mentioned he can't play football, but if you have every watched an NFL game from the sideline, you wouldn't want your kid playing football.

He is somewhat limited in bases as his head follows his shoulders. Hard to keep his eyes through the ball when swinging. Still decent though. I am a proud father.

I don't know what it's called but on both of my feet, the toe next to my big toe turns sideways a bit at the last knuckle. Not sure why.
