Time to vent.
I'm a life long Yankee fan, rooting for the Yankees has been in my family for 75 years.
I was in diapers when Maris hit 61, and I was in grade school when Mantle hit the facade.
It was easy to root for Tresh and Richardson, it was a joy to listen to Scooter and White.
Even when Horace Clarke was throwing balls in the seats from second base, and Jerry Kenny was booting balls like Pele I remained loyal.
I paid cash money to watch them finish in fifth place.
Then George came, and made my team winners.
My jaw dropped when Reggie hit that third WS homer.
I looked at Thurman the same way I looked at my dad.
Joe Torre was and still is my guy, he managed some of the great teams of all time to championships.
I'll never forget Tino's granny, Brosius's clutch homers, Paulie eating dirt, Wettlands saves.

I soured when the Yankees threw Torre under the bus and fired him.
(call it what you want, they fired him)
That was the beginning of the end.
Girardi is a drill seargent that nobody really wants to play for.
They won't tell you in public, but the veterans can't stand him.
Moose didn't like him, the list is endless.
George is sick now and isn't getting better, his kids make George look like a mensa member.
Smoke another Marlboro you big fat pig (Hank)

I was a big A-Rod fan, no more, I'm tired of his shit.
I'm calling bull shit on how this cyst is not steroid related.
Jeter's right about A-Rod, and I'm not a big fan of his personality either.
Jeter had Curtis run out of town for calling him out on not fighting.
Now look at this team.
Posada's shoulder is barking, and if he catches on a regular basis, teams will steal him blind.
A-Rod will probably miss 1/3 of the season.
Jeter is older, and whatever range he had is almost gone.
Cano is impossible to coach, the only one who could coach him got ran out of town with Torre (Bowa)
With A-Rod out, why would any pitcher give Teixiera any thing to hit?
I like Damon's personality but he has a noodle of an arm, and is pushing 40.
Gardner's speed excites me, but can he hit .240 in the show?
CC is a good sign, When AJ goes down (and he will) who's going to pick up those innings. Phil Hughes? Please, he has the worst work ethics in the game according to scouts, and is an injury waiting to happen also.
And Pettitte is done. Before Wang went down AL hitter were starting to solve his sinker.
This team is a mess, the manager is a robot, George's kids are idiots, and it's getting harder and harder for me to root for my lifelong team.

Thanks for reading my rant.
