South Korea +500 to win WBC

South Korea will no doubt win this tournament. Korea plays small ball and wins the game that matters. They lost to Japan by 12+ runs the first game, but then beat Japan 1-0 when the POOL winner is on the line

South Korea will win this WBC, and I wish i bet them before this Japan game at 10 to 1. But it's better late than never

I can see a US and South Korea final, however, the small ball of South Korea will overcome talent with the US.

a lot of big money has been bet on this team the past few days. Know of a couple of syndicates that killed those 5 to 1 odds. A lot of books have it at 2.5 - 3 to 1 right now

hope you all took advantage of that 5 to 1 offering - even though it was short lived

I got tickets to the Seeding game tomorrow between Korea and Japan/Cuba. Most likely, it'll be against Japan, who seem to have Cuba's number. Looking forward to it. :dancefool

So I just got back, and I have to say my experience was subpar, only because my team didn't win. I freezed my tail off for what?

That said, I got cheap $20 tickets, and they let us sit anywhere we wanted after the second inning. I kept moving around the stadium, and I have to say, I'm mighty impressed with Petco Park. It really doesn't matter where you sit. The view is amazing from just about any seat.

However, the gift shop gets an F, because they didn't have fitted caps for Team Korea. They only had 'em for Japan and USA. I guess they sold out, 'cause everybody was looking for 'em and ultimately passed on the overpriced adjustables. :>(

I been preaching Korea to everyone, and tonight it will pay off in a huge way. There is no way , i mean no way JAPAN beats Korea tonight. Korea was praying to see Japan in the final. They would of matched up horrible against the U.S. and Peavy. But they got lucky and now have to face a team that wont be able to score off their pitching tonight.

Korea rolls tonight to victory

Let's not count the chickens before they hatch. Actually, I believe U.S. is a better matchup for Korea, but then again, you're supposed to be the expert here. I'm just a casual fan, so we'll see, but I'm being honest when I say I still don't quite understand where your confidence is coming from. Everybody else I've asked has said that this game's a tossup, if not Japan's. :think2:

korea was praying to see japan??? i don't think so. I read it on korean newspaper saying korea wants to play against usa because usa is biggest country for baseball and they want to prove to themselves and everyone else that korea has grown big as far as playing baseball

they are just saying that to show how confidence they are. it basically means we don't care who we play against in the final. Lee got hit in his head in the last game and he's looking forward to get revenge and so are his brothers i mean teammates!! Korea will take the title. it wont be easy but they will.

so what im saying is it doesntt matter who korea plays against... cause they'll win no matter what
