There are many lower income residential areas, especially close to DT. The area in & around the Gamblers Book Club is one, many others. I know a guy I was in the AF with many yrs ago, lives in that area. His income including a svc. disability pension is net $1700 a mo., he's single and takes the bus or walks a lot and lives just fine. Not rich by any means, but he gets along. Uses the VA hosp, and has no expenses. He said Rent, utuilities, and food cost him about $1100 a mo.! Doesn't gamble too much and knows all the short cuts and comps and uses all of them. He said even at his age you'd be surprised at all the available pussy still around. <><>
