They're discussing Paplebon's remarks concerning him. Wherein he called him a "cancer". Whether he (Pap) was violating some sort of MLB "code" by revealing clubhouse secrets. He didn't reveal anything that we, the public hadn't seen w/our own eyes. This is a far cry from what Conseco did. He DID reveal inner club secrets. Ramirez is a worthless piece of shit, the fact that he can hit doesn't change that. Would you want a quitter next to you in combat? HELL NO!!^^

I really don't care what Manny thinks about anything Paps has to say.
Paps is a bit of loose cannon himself.

You're Right On That

But what he said re. Ramirez is common knowledge. We all saw him quit. In my mind other than actively doing something during a gm such as purposly dropping a fly ball, it was the worst thing I've ever seen. So my point is that we all saw it, so it doesn't fall into the "keep it in the clubhouse mantra". As opposed to Conseco who actually did reveal secrets.

If you've read the book you're in a better position than I am to judge that. I haven't read it yet. M&M are discussing what if anything can be revealed by former or current teamates. I think Golic is a moron, but I do agree w/him on one aspect. Just as in our normal life's doings, if you have something to say about a guy, say it to his face first.

MadDog left for big bucks satellite money.
Those two have been feuding for years, the say the split was happy, I don't believe it.
It's FatBoy's show alone now, he's gotten even more arrogant now that he's solo.

p.s. I have a couple of buddies that live near you, I hear the sports scene is very good, radio wise and all.

Yeah, not too bad I guess. Our main sports radio KFAN is pretty good. Our major newspaper Mpls STrib is in bankruptcy, so we'll be down to 1. St Paul Pioneer Press. One total asshole tho and he's older than me, Sid Hartman. Considers everyone his "close personal friend", hate the old bastard. Biggest prob. w/our sports scene is our teams. Except for the Twins, all losers. The Vikes are on the edge of being very good, but total inaction in the FA market and a idiot for a coach have us doomed again I'm afraid. Sage is NOT the answer!!
