I'm always very cautious with putting any $$ on top seeds because it has long been known that many times it is to their advantage to get some rest by bowing out early. This time of the year is when the top teams need to rest some players who have minor injuries and get ready for the big dance. Anyone who watched the overall number 1 and 2 seeds N. Carolina and Pitt play could easily see that neither were giving their best efforts. They both lost and it costs them nothing. The only top teams to win so far were Louisville and Memphis and they both wanted to win to try and secure a number 1 seed.

See if we can't get Duke on that list.

I want them to win so that they can get a number 2 seed and give me a great bet against team in the big dance. They have been a great go against team recently.

Seen lots of mediocre hoops this week. High seeds don't care.

Coming into this week, I felt Pitt, Uconn, UNC, Mich St, WF, Louisville or Memphis would win it all. I thought these teams were head & shoulders above the rest.

After this weekend.....UGHHHHH!

Pitt plays down to their level of competition which will get them picked off before the Final Four. Uconn's not the same with out their injured star so they will get bounced eventually. UNC plays little to no defense plus Lawton is hurt yet again. Mich St plays in the shitty boring Big 10 and lost again. WF was my sleeper, but getting bounced now has me with questions. Memphis is tough, but they play in the god awful CUSA. Beating the final 2 teams by 20+ is not an indication of how strong you, but rather how bad the conference really is. I cant gauge this team at all because of that. Very possible they could take it I suppose. Louisville looks like the only legit team that can go the distance now, but they lucked out again by missing out on Pitt & Uconn in the BE Tourney, so who knows. It may be the year a #4 or #5 cuts down the nets. Very wide open now it appears.
