Does anybody play their state Pick 3 and Pick 4 lottery? I play ocassionally and have hit a few times. My problem is I seem to consistently hit 2 out of 3 in a box format for the Pick 3 and 3 out of 4 in the box format for the Pick 4. I have tried various things to home my skills for picking the winning combination, but I have yet to overcome the 2 out of 3, 3 out of 4 problem. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
I agree that most of it is sheer luck, but somehow, there has to be a way to mathmetically give you an edge to overcome the 2 out of 3, 3 out of 4 problem. I just have not found it yet, but I am trying. A box hit in Pick 3 in SC pays $80 while a box hit in Pick 4 pays $200. One or two hits on either in a week pays my power and water bills for the month.
