Too many factors involved here that we dont know about.

How much do you need the money?

How close is this friend?

Are friends more important than money?

Im assuming this is a close friend. You arent that hard up for the money. And you value friends more than money.

With that assumed, tell him you will take whatever. But dont let him give you more than 1K. Chances are he will need a loan from you soon with that type of money he is putting down....

It's not a matter of "how much money." How about you go out and have drinks and some good food. If you perform well next time, maybe he lets you get to second base and cop a feel.:cripwalk:

So this guy is loaded and is playing with what is basically Monopoly money to him?

All the more reason to keep him as a close friend and dont jeopardize the friendship my accepting a free handout when you clearly dont need it at this time.

I wouldn't take any money. Let him take you and your wife out somewhere nice instead.

If you were a tout he would owe you 44k. So you go from there.

Yeah you could say that !

The Guy is a Pro, just that he doesn't follow NCAA. But he know I do
So he called me up yesterday morning and asked who I liked.
Give him Two games ( Sides & Total ) All 4 plays Hit.

Called me again This afternoon, gave him 2 games ( Both Hit )

He was in the hole for $18K, and he made that back +$43.5K

So he calls and says...You helped me, I need to take care of you.
You're getting a Cut of my Profits !

I'm like, No need to do that..I Made Money Too

if the dude wants to give a cut of the "winnings" you must take some.
dont insult the guy by refusing the gift

take no more than 10%

use it to make more for down the road...

this stuff doesn't happen everyday...
