It's been so long since I've been to Atlantic City....Use to come here Every ! Every Weekend for about 4 years. And been coming here since AC got Gambling .

This Fuking Place is a Dump ! :>(

The place is a Ghost town.....and Yes I know it's the Middle of the week and should be a little on the slow side.
But I'm Talking Ghost town USA... Really Bad !

Bad Service ! Bad rooms ! ( well they are ok, but nothing to talk about ) Bad Design ! Bad !!
The Cocktail Waitress look older than Dirt ! The dealers look like they just came over from a Boat !

The Food is So So....and Don't think I will be back ! or at least Not here at the Trop.

I kind of want to trek the bus ride up to my local spot Foxwoods but I'm scared. The place is often described as a big boring maze. When it was new I remember how awesome it was. But it seems more dumpy everytime I go. They have the MGM grand section now, but it's super expensive.

It costs 10 bucks to bus ride there and back and I get free food and match play coupons for table games. I'm just not sure if it's worth it.

Betallsports, I hear you though. Is the point I am making. Things are changing. People are going elsewhere for their entertainment.

I have been going to Mohegan Sun for the past 4 years. That's why i haven't been to AC in so long.

Right Now, they can Keep it ! Blow it Up ! for all I care...

Funny I only been to Foxwoods once, might have to try it
Will go back to Mohegan around the summer...Just not sure I'll come back here...Even though the Wife likes the Boardwalk/ Beach

Going over to Showboat tonight to meet some friends. Will have to see if that's any better. :grandmais

Well, you really can't Walk there, but I know it's a much better place.
I have a group of friends that go there, they love it.
But I was never a big fan of the Borgata.

Who knows, maybe I will try it out one day. (<)<

I was there once two years ago......it was a dump then. The Tropicana was bad. Caesars & Borgata were ok IMO.

AC has been down for a while now. Thats why they are pushing so hards for the sportsbooks. If they get the sportsbooks it will revitalize the whole town and I heard something of them being in as soon as 2010? Don't know how much truthe their is to that though.

Although, oddly enough I was at Turning Stone (upstate NY) this weekend and it was really busy. I had never seen it as busy as it was last weekend when their wasn't a big concert or poker tournament up their.

Just got back from Las Vegas on Monday. That place was as busy as I could ever remember. I have been there 4 times in the last 10 years, this was the busiest that I have seen it. If this is a recession I cant wait until we have a bull run. As far as going back to LV, I am officially done for awhile. That place is a fucking hell hole, and the customer service is fucking awful.
