For the 1:05 PM EST games I like:

Boston/Cincinnati Under 9.5 +100

Buchholz has pitched great and is trying to get a spot in the rotation and Cincy is without some starters. Cueto has been excellent in spring training and Boston doesn't have David Ortiz in there today.

New York Mets -145

The Mets have close to their full lineup in there against a very average Nate Robertson while the Tigers barely have any regulars batting today.

Looks Oliver Peerez is reverting back to 2007 and walking every body. I don't understand why the Mets gave him the money that they did.

I am on the Mets today too for the same reasons as you. Hopefully their bashers can help us get back in this.

Mets are getting rocked..i dont understand how i keep losing these ST games. I bet the home team with the better lineup and better starting pitcher and i still lose ^<<^

Perez just doesn't have it today. Plus Robertson got injured early and that screwed up my bet. Tigers now have as many runs as hits. I had a bad feeling about that bet and should have layed off. Grr.

Only 1 run scored in 7 innings in the other game though.

FYI, there is no home team. The games are all played in Florida or Arizona for the most part.

Cleveland Indians -107

Pavano is always sketchy but so is Correia and the Indians have a much stronger lineup. Should be -125.

Oakland/CHW Under 12 -120

Brett Anderson has pitched great and is one of the best prospects in baseball while Bartolo Colon struggled in his spring opener but has reportedly looked great so far when he has thrown.

Angels look good but I almost never lay anything over -130 in spring ball. Big mistake doing it with the Mets. One thing that would scare me about the Angels is that prior to his last start, Jered Weaver has struggled because of shoulder soreness. No idea if it's still bothering him. It's not a horrible bet but I am done laying that much in spring training.

MLB.com usually has them up 15-30 minutes before gametime. The hard part right now is figuring out what relievers will see action (f-ing Villone!) but the starters are generally going much later in the games toward this portion of spring training. Earlier in the season you'd be able to figure out exactly who would pitch and how much. I'm not sure which part I like more.
