If You Followed A Successful Bettor But Later Found Out He Didn't Even Bet Real Money, Would It Matter?

I have read many posts through the years of some posters poking fun at or making claims that other particular posters here & there "Doesn't even put real money on his bets".

I'm sure people are skeptical when & if they find out or suspect someone doesn't bet real money on their posted plays because they believe the wagers may not be taken as serious, or not much effort or though put into them when capping or making a final decision. This is understandable.

But, does it really matter if a person can pick winners over the long-haul?

It doesnt matter to me. A guy who can hit is a guy who can hit.

And chasing with crazy units to get back in the + is annoying real money or not.

no, i prefer a guy that studies what he does, and tries, rather than a rich guy who can afford to throw hundreds at each game and not really sweat whether they win or not

If he´s a succesfull capper and wins on a regular basis, why wouldn´t he bet? At least small amounts. Doesn´t make sense to me.

Wouldn't matter to me, just keep picking winners. Although it might be hard to take stock advice from a "broke" broker. @):mad:
