I'm tired of running to my computer when I want in-game action. Can someone recommend a gadget I can use to place bets from my couch while watching games. My laptop is too bulky. I want something in the palm of my hand that will allow me to roam from book to book and place bets quickly. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I just received one from Dell about 10 days ago. I included mobile broadband on it, and it's the bomb. I have a Dell Inspiron Mini 9.
I still use my home desktop most of the time. The mini is good if I want to lounge in family or living room, or even on the road (or at a friend's or a relative's).

I have both a full sized laptop and an asus mini...the mini comes with wifi built in,and i gotta tell ya, i sit it next to me either on my nightstand or on the end table, wherever we are watching tv and bring up whatever game i wanna watch on atdhe.net etc and just let it run while we watch hells kitchen or whatever on the big screen,,,,,it has saved my marriage...well worth the 300 bucks these things are going for now adays...you can keep an eye on your games, make your bets and it fits on any nightstand/end table easily...awesome.

There are other manufacturers that makes a "netbook" ("mini"). I just am giving you the Dell link because Dell is simply reliable.

I have been thinking about buying a mini over a laptop. Just because I don't want to lug the laptop around.
Have you found that it has good speed to it? I want it to run a program that I have that is pretty large. It uses a text file database that can be a nightmare to load if on a slow computer.
I know what your saying. It's alot like me wanting to lose weight without having to do shit. I don't wanna move at all. I want my bed in front of my T.V. but then I'll have to push buttons on the remote. Got to come up with a way where I won't have to do that but yet be able to change channels.
lol this is a great thread, I have a 24 inch Monitor in my home computer, and I use a Wireless MOUSE/KEYBOARD while sitting on my couch from 12 feet away!!!!!:lol::drink:

Just bought 2 of these...bad ass comp and a 22" HD TV tuner built in....all wireless and tv and comp can go at the same time. Take it out the box and be running in less than 10 mins.....$749 at Best Buy...online sales only
