<HR style="COLOR: rgb(255,255,255)" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->According to ESPN, the New York district attorney's office is going to announce it at a press conference this evening. They were apparently not backing off of demanding at least the mandatory minimum sentence of 3 1/2 years for the weapons charge, so I guess this technically saves him almost half the time he would've gotten if convicted.
All I've got to say is -- WOW -- Plax's lawyers must have really thought they had no hope of winning the case if they'd agree to something like this. And if I had that kind of money, I'd hire another lawyer. Guess receivers are going to be a hot commodity in this year's draft.
