I am probably living in fantasy land but I would consider signing Vick and drafting Pat White. Can you imagine vick, white and peterson in the same backfield using some type of option explosive attack? Vick and White obviously would be able to throw as well and if someone could draw up the plays for them it would be a dangeous offense to deal with IMO...thoughts?

Jackson is poop, wouldn't be close to Vick if he didn't get locked up. Love em or hate em Vick is an unreal athlete.

What option attacks have great qb's? That's a lot of talent in one backfield to contain...run run run then downfield will be open.

Been mentioned a few times before but until Childress gets fired bringing in a Qb that will outright start over TJack will not happen.

Vikings fans just have to shake our heads in disbelief.

But no to the original question. I wouldn't want Vick.

Seems like Minnesota would have made a bigger push for Cutler.

I do agree though, Vikings should give Vick consideration........

Are the Vikings still trying to push public financing for a new stadium?

Bringing in Vick wouldn't help them with public perception as they try to distance themselves from the Love Boat years etc.

This theory is not all about Vick im just saying if they had those 3 in the same backfield with a crazy offense it could be explosive of course we know it won't happen but you would think it could work to some degree. A lot of speed for any defense to contain.

Because of their Love Boat embarrassment a couple of years ago, Vick will NEVER be a Viking...

why do the vikings need another back.

they already have the best tandem in the league in chester taylor and adrian peterson. taylor would be starting on almost all NFL teams and AP is the best back in the league.

jackson is progressing slowly, but is progressing. i've seen enough of him to believe he can be a solid starter. most QB's dont do shit till 3rd-4th year.

Remember in the NFL, someone is always bigger and faster. Teams would blitz all day. Instead of Vick, why not go after Vince Young?
