NWS YTD

6-6 -2.38 units (Match-Ups)
1-1 +1.98 units (Outrights)

YTD: -0.40 units

I like this early qualifying schedule, wish they did it more often.

This is what I played for Saturday:

Match-Ups (all lines from thegreek)

1.50 units Jason Leffler (+115) over Mike Bliss
Leffler is better statistically at Texas (15.6 avg. in 8 starts/Bliss has a 24.3 in 6 starts) and is also having a much better 2009 to this point coming off back-to-back Top 10 runs at Vegas and Bristol.

1.50 units David Ragan (-145) over David Reutimann
Ragan and this Roush team have been fast since they unloaded (2nd and 4th in practice then qualified 4th). Ragan has an avg. of 8.75 in 4 starts here where Roush has had quite a bit of success and I look for Ragan to be at least Top 5 and maybe challenge for that first career win.

1.00 unit Kyle Busch (-145) over Carl Edwards
Paying another high price but can't overlook Busch's performance here the last 3 races (1st,1st and 2nd)

1.00 Matt Kenseth (-115) over Tony Stewart
This is a close one but Kenseth also has been tough here in the past, driving for a different team but they worked well together at Bristol coming home 4th.

Outrights

0.50 unit Matt Kenseth (+500)
Busch will be tough to beat but there is no value at +140, but if he doesn't come out and dominate I have a chance with Kenseth and the other 2 I'm playing.

0.25 unit Jeff Burton (+1000)
Always steady and near the front in the NWS

0.25 David Ragan (+1200)
Maybe the stars are lining up for Ragan to breakthrough

Good luck to everyone.
