I have another one of these in the Record Tracking forum but I'll have one here too so that we can discuss...
1-5 unit scale, 5 unit plays being the highest
1 unit will equal $100 dollars
YTD: 0-0 (+$0)
Sunday, April 5th:
Atlanta Braves (+120) over Philadelphia Phillies (-130) 3 units
Derek Lowe vs. Brett Myers is tonight's pitching match up. Last year, Lowe was 14-11 with a 3.24 ERA. In the past three seasons, he has been 42-33 with a 3.58 ERA. He has made four starts against Philadelphia since 2006 and he is 3-0 with a 2.84 ERA. In that time period, Philadelphia hitters are hitting .211 off him. Raul Ibanez, the major new comer in the Phillie line up, is just 2 for 19 career of Lowe. Ryan Howard is 2 for 16 career off the right hander.
On the other hand, the Braves have absolutley clobbered Brett Myers. In 2008, Myers was 0-2 with a 10.39 ERA against Atlanta. In the past three seasons, he is just 1-4 with a 4.79 ERA, including ten homeruns allowed in 56.1 innings.
Good luck.
